About the role
- Leads development efforts for the Autonomous Cascadia's Sensor Clearing System
- Works with various teams in ATG and in the larger engineering organization to ensure the system is manufacturable, durable, and functional
- Collaborates with integration engineers to ensure hardware is correctly implemented into the vehicle
- Ensures Functional Safety, diagnostics, and cybersecurity requirements for autonomous ECUs are successfully met by the supplier
- Designs and troubleshoots advanced systems, and focuses on how to integrate these systems into new and existing design concepts
- Host meetings internationally to interface with our counterparts in Europe and Asia
- Releases SCS parts into DTNA's system, along with module and BOM ownership
- Industrialization of the SCS based on feedback from our stakeholders
Requirements
- Bachelors Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or similar
- 2-4 years of relevant experience, or 6 years experience in lieu of degree
- Experience developing and testing DTNA ECUs
- An understanding of CAN and J1939 communications standards
- A history of cross-functional work experience including with ECU suppliers
- Knowledge of ECU diagnostics and cybersecurity implementations
- Experience in DTNA BOM and Module ownership
