About the role

  • Act as a trusted HR advisor to business leaders, providing guidance on organizational design, workforce planning, employee relations, and performance management
  • Contribute to headcount planning and manpower cost control
  • Support organizational development and change management initiatives
  • Partner with leadership to drive employee engagement and retention strategies
  • Provide HR analytics and regular reports to support informed decision-making
  • Work closely with the Talent Acquisition (TA) team to support recruitment activities, and workforce planning
  • Act as the internal HR focal point by addressing employee inquiries, concerns, and requests in a timely and professional manner
  • Manage employee lifecycle activities including onboarding, probation management, confirmation, transfers, promotions, and exits
  • Oversee disciplinary and grievance processes in line with company policy and local labor regulations, involving the Managing Director when required
  • Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping of employee files in compliance with statutory and internal requirements
  • Manage and advise on the performance management process, including calibration and development planning
  • Conduct coaching sessions and provide guidance to managers on people-related matters
  • Manage employee engagement initiatives and support internal communication activities
  • Maintain accurate employee data in SAP SuccessFactors (Employee Central)
  • Manage approvals in Envision HRIS and initiate 4ME new user requests and employee transactions
  • Ensure data integrity, reporting accuracy, and confidentiality of HR records
  • Prepare monthly HR dashboards and statutory reports as required
  • Identify training needs in collaboration with business leaders
  • Implement and coordinate training activities in cooperation with the L&D function
  • Facilitate workshops and awareness sessions when required
  • Ensure full compliance with the Oman Labour Law and related Ministerial Decisions; proactively monitor legislative updates and assess organizational impact
  • Maintain audit-ready documentation, proper delegation of authority (DoA), and secure HRIS records in line with corporate governance standards
  • Act as the focal point for internal and external audits and regulatory inspections, liaising with relevant authorities in Muscat when required and driving corrective action plans to closure
  • Manage, coach, and develop HR team member(s)
  • Promote a culture of accountability, service excellence, and continuous improvement within HR

Requirements

  • University Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • Minimum 8 years of progressive HR experience with strong exposure to operational and strategic HR in multinational environment
  • Solid working knowledge of labor regulations of Oman
  • Proven experience in employee relations, performance management, compliance, and HR operations
  • Experience managing HR systems (preferably SAP SuccessFactors)
  • Demonstrated ability to partner with senior stakeholders and influence decision-making
  • Prior people management experience is required
  • Strong business acumen and strategic thinking capability
  • High level of integrity and confidentiality
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Ability to manage change and work in a matrix organization
