About the role

  • Lead and support the implementation, operation, and continuous improvement of the ISMS.
  • Define the processes and controls to verify that we stay compliant with our own policies and that gaps, deviations are properly documented and get remediated.
  • Architecting Information Security at Daikin EMEA.
  • Coordinate and contribute to security-related projects & roadmap.
  • Serve as the primary security liaison for specific business domains or sites, ensuring local compliance with global security policies.
  • Serve as prime contact for internal and external audits, and contribute to certification readiness (e.g., ISO27001).
  • Actively participate in the development of security governance.
  • Provide (Security knowledge) coaching and guidance to junior Information Security Specialists and other stakeholders on security best practices by following latest trends in Information Security.

Requirements

  • Proven relevant experience of which 5 years in information security, preferably in a multinational or regulated environment.
  • Knowledge of ISMS frameworks, risk management, and compliance standards (ISO27001, NIS2, GDPR).
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills in English.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively across departments and geographies.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, ISO27001 Lead Implementer) are a plus.
