About the role
- Manage end to end payroll operations across multiple provinces
- Administer full cycle payroll processing for hourly, salaried, and unionized employees across Canada
- Assist with US payroll processing
- Validate timekeeping, earnings, deductions, taxable benefits and adjustments
- Ensure payroll is processed accurately and on schedule
- Reconcile payroll registers, general ledgers and year end balances
- Generate payroll reports for finance, human resources and leadership teams
Requirements
- 10+ years of Canadian payroll experience with high volume, large multi-national company
- Experience working with UKG PRO/UltiPro preferred
- Experience with ADP preferred
- Bi-lingual, English & French
- Bachelor’s degree required (those without degrees but equivalent experience are encouraged to apply)
- Canadian Payroll Certification from the National Payroll Institute (formerly CPA) strongly preferred
