About the role
- Work and take direction from the regional staff (Regional General Manager, Regional Equipment Sales Manager, and Regional Service Manager)
- Identify and pursue new sales opportunities for modular chiller plants.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve sales targets.
- Conduct presentations and demonstrations of modular chiller systems to potential customers and design engineers.
- Negotiate contracts and close deals.
- Provide technical support to customers, addressing their questions and concerns.
- Assist customers in selecting the appropriate modular chiller system for their needs.
- Collaborate with engineering and technical teams to develop solutions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers.
- Provide excellent customer service and support.
- Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and gather feedback.
- Stay up to date on industry trends, technologies, and competitor activities.
- Research and analyze market opportunities.
- Identify potential customer segments and tailor sales approaches accordingly.
- Prepare sales reports and forecasts.
- Contribute to the development of marketing materials.
- Participate in trade shows and industry events.
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; Engineering degree preferred
- 6 - 8 years of related sales experience in the commercial HVAC Industry
- 4+ years of people leadership
- Possess a strong understanding of modular chiller technology and applications
- Ability to travel up to 50% or as needed
