About the role

  • Operation & stability: backups, security, roles/permissions, settings, updates, troubleshooting
  • Ongoing development: A/B tests, new features, clean releases (preferably with a test/staging store)
  • Tracking & attribution: GA4, Consent Manager, GTM, events – transparent and well-documented
  • Performance: page speed, Core Web Vitals, technical optimization
  • CRO & user behavior: e.g., Hotjar/heatmaps, hypothesis creation, testing, iteration
  • Coordination: manage freelancers for development/design/graphics (briefing, quality control, timing)
  • Content & promotions: landing pages, discount campaigns, product and copy maintenance
  • Reporting: KPIs, risks, priorities, progress

Requirements

  • Several years of experience in e-commerce/shop management (e.g., Shopify (our shop), Shopware, WooCommerce or similar)
  • Technical understanding of operations, updates, error analysis and clean rollouts
  • Practical experience with tracking/consent (GA4, GTM or similar) and a solid understanding of attribution and events
  • Enjoyment in making a shop stable and measurably better
  • Structured working style: identify root causes, prioritize sensibly and implement (or manage the implementation)
  • Willingness to take responsibility and only being satisfied when things truly run smoothly
