About the role
- Lead WMS implementation projects as the senior industry and product SME through Discovery, Design, Configuration, Training, UAT and Go-Live Gather client requirements during the discovery phase and translate them into actionable design solutions using out-of-the-box cloud configurations Understand client operations and recommend best practices to optimize ROI and operational efficiency Lead system design reviews and oversee junior consultants’ work for accuracy and consistency Support training, testing, and “go-live” activities, ensuring smooth client adoption Serve as a trusted advisor, guiding clients on industry best practices and future-proof solutions Deliver training to both client super users and end users Build and maintain reusable project artifacts, documentation, and collateral Provide QA and review of system design solutions from architects and consultants Troubleshoot advanced software-related issues and provide L2/L3 functional support to clients and internal teams (Sales, Marketing, Support, Professional Services) Contribute to product feedback and integration roadmaps as a senior SME
Requirements
- 8–10 years of experience in WMS or enterprise software implementations Proven track record of leading large-scale, complex client projects as a senior consultant or equivalent role Deep understanding of the software implementation lifecycle, change management, and client onboarding Strong expertise in API/EDI integrations and leading WMS-to-3rd party integrations (ERP, EDI, MHE, Robotics) Experience working with 3PLs and specific facets of multi-client facilities and multi-site roll-outs Hands-on experience with project management and tracking tools such as Jira, Smartsheet, or similar Excellent communication, facilitation, and documentation skills Ability to troubleshoot advanced technical and functional issues Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience)
