Assistance with developing the product roadmap, backlog and prioritization
Gain deep experience, knowledge and eventually ownership in areas of D2L’s products
Take guidance and promptly action tasks and action items as assigned by the Product Manager or Senior Product Manager
Assist in analyzing data and feedback for decision making on the roadmap and priorities
Represent the Product Manager or Senior Product Manager in their absence

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in information systems, Computer Science, Education or a related field.
Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
Understanding of Brightspace core features and workflows, including administrative features.
Self-starter with proven success in working with cross functional teams.
Detail-oriented with a commitment to maintaining data accuracy and documentation.
Familiarity with Jira.
A good understanding of current web, data, cloud and mobile technologies.
Ability to actively manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
Ability to take a leadership role when making data driven decisions.
Ability to follow a vision and strategy created by others.
Ability to create a backlog plan from a roadmap.
