About the role

  • Lead and manage global Business Excellence initiatives with a focus on process optimization and digital transformation
  • Analyze end-to-end processes, identify improvement opportunities, and increase efficiency and automation using modern process-mining tools
  • Act as a strategic business partner, provide subject-matter expertise and contribute to the development of the department
  • Initiate and lead sourcing automation projects, including implementation and optimization of relevant tools
  • Lead cross-functional project teams, prioritize actions and ensure sustainable implementation of improvements
  • Develop and implement best-practice models based on robust data analysis and system knowledge
  • Document, standardize and continuously improve processes to ensure operational excellence
  • Design and implement training and change-management initiatives for internal and external stakeholders

Requirements

  • Several years of hands-on experience in process analysis, design and implementation in operational environments, ideally in sourcing or procurement
  • Degree in Business Administration, (Business) Informatics, or a related field
  • Proven ability to identify optimization potentials in end-to-end processes and translate insights into measurable improvements
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills combined with solid technical understanding
  • Expertise in SAP S/4HANA and SAP Ariba (particularly Source-to-Pay) as well as advanced Microsoft Office skills
  • Confident use of process-mining tools in a business context
  • Demonstrable project management experience implementing global processes, standards and transformation initiatives
  • Business-fluent German and English.
