About the role
- Lead Strategic Account Growth
- Develop and execute growth strategies across Federal Civilian agencies, aligning solutions to mission priorities and budgets
- Drive near-term revenue while building long-term positioning and identifying new expansion opportunities
- Continuously uncover whitespace and adjacent areas for growth
- Build Trusted Customer Relationships
- Establish and grow relationships with mission, program, and executive stakeholders
- Engage early to understand needs and shape opportunities before formal acquisition
- Position CyKor as a strategic, mission-focused partner
- Own Pipeline & Opportunity Development
- Generate and qualify opportunities through customer engagement, partners, and market insight
- Maintain a strong, balanced pipeline with clear paths to procurement
- Manage forecasting, acquisition tracking, and opportunity progression in Salesforce
- Drive Winning Pursuits
- Lead pursuit strategy by aligning customer insight, internal teams, and partners
- Collaborate cross-functionally to develop differentiated solutions and win strategies
- Support capture, proposal, and transition to delivery
- Strengthen Partnerships & Team Alignment
- Align with OEMs and strategic partners to deliver mission-focused solutions
- Collaborate across internal teams to drive coordinated execution
- Share insights to improve account strategy and pursuit success
- Represent CyKor in the Market
- Serve as a trusted ambassador in customer, partner, and industry engagements
- Communicate CyKor’s value by connecting capabilities to mission outcomes
Requirements
- Bachelor degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred
- Minimum of 10 years of technology sales, business development, or account management experience in the Federal market
- Demonstrated success selling into Federal Civilian agencies
- Proven track record of developing pipeline, expanding accounts, and closing complex opportunities
- Strong understanding of Federal procurement processes, acquisition cycles, and compliance requirements
- Experience managing pipeline, forecasting, and account activity in Salesforce (SFDC)
- Ability to work across technical, operational, and partner teams to support coordinated growth strategies
- Strong executive presence and relationship-building skills
- Ability to generate and shape opportunities through direct customer engagement
- Deep understanding of Federal Civilian buying environments and mission priorities
- Strong pipeline discipline and opportunity qualification skills
- Ability to align technical solutions to mission outcomes
- Skilled at coordinating internal teams and partner ecosystems around priority pursuits
- Strategic thinker with strong tactical follow-through
- Persistent, accountable, and highly collaborative
