About the role

  • As a Solution Architect (m/f/x) you accompany the technical sales process — from the initial idea to the proof of concept — and ensure that customer needs are translated into sound decision-making inputs for product, sales and marketing.
  • Responsibility for technical sales support — from initial conversations through to a successful PoC.
  • Develop and present tailored solution concepts based on individual customer requirements.
  • Act as the voice of the market within the company and ensure that relevant insights from customer projects are purposefully incorporated into product development, positioning and go-to-market activities.
  • Create targeted technical content for sales initiatives and campaigns.
  • Independently analyze market trends and competitive situations and derive relevant recommendations for action.

Requirements

  • Understanding of industrial IT and OT landscapes (e.g., cloud architectures, MES, IIoT).
  • Experience in consulting or consultative selling of complex technical products.
  • Structured way of working, high level of personal responsibility, and strong communication skills.
  • German (at least C1) and fluent English, both written and spoken.
  • Bonus points for experience with (industrial) communication protocols (e.g., MQTT, HTTP, OPC UA, Modbus, BACnet).
