About the role
- As Inventory Manager you are responsible for ensuring optimal product assortment and stock levels at our locations
- Monitoring inventory levels and write-offs
- Ensuring compliance with supplier return conditions
- Supporting the management of item logistics data
- Ongoing optimization of inventory management
- Monthly reporting of inventory KPIs
- Replenishing warehouses to ensure product availability
- Supporting the creation of new items in collaboration with the Product Manager
- Defining the warehouse assortment according to the inventory strategy
- Increasing the self-supply level of our locations
- Conducting stock clean-ups
- Processing supplier returns according to defined processes
- Collaborating with Product Management on sales items
- Continuous monitoring and analysis of write-offs
- Implementing adjustments and optimizations in inventory management
- Participating in regular logistics meetings
- Visiting and inspecting our logistics sites
Requirements
- Completed commercial training, Logistics Specialist (EFZ) or equivalent
- Professional experience in inventory planning or order management
- Strategic approach with solid analytical skills
- Strong customer and service orientation
- Experience with BI tools and KPI analysis
- Very good German; English and French skills advantageous
- Proficient in MS Office
- High degree of initiative and assertiveness
- Team player with strong communication skills
