About the role
- Maintain, identify and grow customer base
- Provide consistent and superior customer service
- Increase sales and margin
- Follow up on all accounts
- Work with the Outside Sales Team to support commercial contractor customers
- Provide timely and accurate quotes and orders to customers
- Follow up and expedite customer quotes and orders
- Enter sales orders and follow up on product deliveries
- Help set-up customer pricing matrices and blankets
- Help counter with sales when needed
- Courtesy and politeness toward team members, customers, and vendors
- Multi-task and prioritize tasks to be completed throughout the day
- Other duties as required
Requirements
- High School or GED
- Team Oriented
- Positive attitude, reliable, responsible, and a strong work ethic
- Solid customer service background
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite & Eclipse (Eclipse knowledge preferred but not required)
- Good and dependable mathematic, verbal, and written communication skills
- 1-2 years’ experience either as a counter or inside salesman in electrical distribution industry supporting commercial contractors
