About the role
- Ensure that procedures are effectively applied locally by operations
- Propose procedure improvements to the Flow Director in collaboration with and according to the framework set by the national Methods & Processes (MP) team
- Lead local deployment acceptance testing for software applications
- Manage M90, M91 and/or M92 (stock reconciliation between the ERP and the WMS)
- Develop and evaluate organizational or production scenarios within the framework of national processes
- Write and update documentation related to application use, operating procedures, and the document repository in coordination with the local QHSE Manager
- Participate in projects related to improving and optimizing the logistics activities of the assigned flow
- Contribute to operational projects in coordination with the platform’s logistics project manager
- Serve as the IT Department (DSI) contact via the site CRC for business tools/applications
- Collaborate with GDS on the physical resources required for implementing product ranges
- Draft specifications for new equipment and tools to be used in coordination with the relevant departments
- Interact with external service providers within the contracts defined by the IT Department
- Report incidents to the national Methods & Processes teams or to IT and perform an initial diagnosis beforehand
- Identify needs for new or replacement equipment to national MP and deploy them on site in coordination with maintenance and operations
- Update and use activity monitoring and analysis tools for the assigned flow (dashboards)
- Act as the primary contact for users to collect their requirements
- Train users or supervise reference users / tutors
Requirements
- Proficient with logistics systems: Infolog WMS, WCS, Voice/RF, eXpédito TMS and Movex ERP
- Able to analyze working methods and optimize equipment
- Capable of setting priorities, driving action plans and proposing relevant technical improvements
- Able to present and persuade management on development projects
- Comfortable leading and engaging a team
- Actively contribute to continuous improvement and to the productivity of equipment
