About the role
- Ensure a welcoming, transparent, and timely candidate experience throughout the hiring process.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to refine role requirements, review job descriptions, determine interview processes, and review candidate profiles.
- High volume full cycle recruiting for assigned roles, including posting jobs, reviewing resumes, conducting initial phone screens, and scheduling interviews with hiring managers.
- Skilled at leveraging recruiting platforms (LinkedIn, Indeed, Handshake) to proactively source talent and build candidate pipeline.
- Collaborate with the hiring manager and/or other HR staff during the offer process, identifying and recommending salary ranges, bonuses, start dates, and other pertinent offer details.
- Maintain consistent communication with candidates to ensure a positive and professional experience.
- Provide regular and timely recruiting updates for hiring managers; proactively address constraints and work collaboratively to find solutions.
- Identify and foster partnerships with local universities, trade schools, workforce centers, industry specific organizations, etc.
- Optimize recruiting processes through use of technology, analytics, and workflow improvements.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date data in the applicant tracking system (ATS).
- Ensure proper file retention in all facets on the recruitment lifecycle.
- Assist with generating reports, tracking open roles, and maintaining job posting accuracy.
- Work closely with HR team on onboarding, new-hire documentation, and general process improvements.
- Attends and participates in job fairs and recruiting sessions as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of recruiting and HR experience required.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills needed.
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a high-volume environment.
- Strong organization, multitasking, and time management skills are essential.
- Sourcing experience required (Linked In and Indeed preferred).
- Experience using an ATS or HR software is required (multiple system experience is a plus).
- High level of professionalism, confidentiality, and sound judgment.
- Bilingual Spanish is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree (B.A or B.S.) from a 4-year college or University or 3 - 4 years' of related experience.
