About the role
- Telephone and counter-based support and advising for customers from retail, trade and industry
- Marketing and implementation of our Sonepar-specific sales concepts
- Targeted promotion of lot/clearance sales and organization of order fairs
- Order entry, quotation preparation and follow-up
- Close collaboration with the field sales team, technical field sales, e-business and key account managers
- New customer acquisition and CRM data maintenance
Requirements
- Vocational training in electrical engineering or commercial training in wholesale/foreign trade, or qualification as a technician or master electrician
- Several years of experience in sales of electrical products
- Extensive technical and industry knowledge in electrical engineering as well as practical commercial skills
- Enthusiasm and affinity for solution-oriented sales of electrical products and services
- Strong customer orientation, assertiveness and decision-making ability
- Confident use of MS Office products, especially Outlook, Word and Excel
