About the role
- Receive customer calls and provide appropriate information regarding pricing and products, conducting research as needed.
- Enter customer orders into the system.
- Follow up with customers on orders in progress.
- Track corporate requests, analyze reports and take action.
- Take necessary steps to resolve customer service issues in a timely manner and ensure follow-up.
- Proactively suggest related and/or alternative products when appropriate.
- Keep technical product knowledge up to date.
- Other related duties.
Requirements
- Two (2) years of experience in customer service and sales
- DEP (Diploma of Vocational Studies) in Electrical/Electronics or sales training (an asset)
- Good knowledge of the electrical distribution market
