About the role
- Provide telephone and counter support/advice to our customers from retail, trades and industry
- Promote and implement our Sonepar-specific sales concepts
- Targeted marketing of surplus-lot sales and organization of order fairs
- Order entry, quote preparation and follow-up
- Close collaboration with field sales, technical field service, e-business and key account teams
- New customer acquisition and data maintenance in the CRM system
Requirements
- Vocational qualification in electrical engineering or commercial training in wholesale/foreign trade, or qualification as a technician or master electrician
- Several years of experience in the sales of electrotechnical products
- Extensive technical and industry knowledge in electrical engineering as well as practical commercial skills
- Enthusiasm and affinity for solution-oriented sales of electrotechnical products and services
- High degree of customer orientation, assertiveness and decision-making ability
- Confident use of MS Office products, especially Outlook, Word and Excel
