About the role
- Assist in the management of projects from startup to closeout
- Prepare submittals for customer and engineering review
- Create purchase orders and communicate job release requirements to vendors
- Track delivery dates, maintain shipment summary, and communicate this information regularly to customers
- Assist in maintaining project bill of materials and customer
- Help to manage freight claims & return material requests
- Perform project close out financial review and address any open items
- Maintain strong communication between the customer, vendors, account manager and project team members
- Execute project work plans as outlined by your team leader
- Manage day-to-day operational aspects of a project and scope
- Review deliverables prepared by team before passing to client
- Understand pricing strategy and billing procedures
- Maintain up to date financial records for all active projects
- Monitor and facilitate all Pro Logistics Services activities related to projects under management
Requirements
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to work in a team environment and take instructions from others
- Commitment to stay up to date on assigned learning plans to build product knowledge and remain current on new technology, trends and processes
- Associate Degree (A. A.) or two years related experience and training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience in the Electrical Distribution or Construction industry preferred but not required
- Proven ability to start and complete tasks and be detail oriented
- Willingness to assist in the training and development of other team members
- Possess in-depth knowledge of computer systems, Microsoft Office, etc.
