About the role
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable systems and platforms to support business growth and operational efficiency.
- Champion an "automate-first" mindset, identifying opportunities to automate manual processes and workflows.
- Build workflows that reduce administrative overhead for support and delivery teams.
- Ensure the stability, security, and performance of Cybit’s internal infrastructure and customer-leveraged platforms.
- Continuously monitor, troubleshoot, and optimise systems to improve reliability and reduce downtime.
- Manage and develop Cybit’s FinOps platform.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with teams across the business to identify technology solutions that improve processes and outcomes.
- Lead the deployment of new technologies and tools, ensuring alignment with business goals and IT best practices.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations, processes, and procedures.
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to proactively recommend improvements.
- Identify and implement opportunities to enhance the customer experience, ensuring customers consistently recognise and appreciate the value of the service offering.
- Lead initiatives to streamline operations, driving cost reduction through process optimisation and automation.
Requirements
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Powershell & Python
- Windows Server & Basic Networking administration
- Office 365/Intune administration
- Working with AWS/Azure Cost Reporting
- Experience and understanding of AWS & Azure (Preferably with AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner & Microsoft Certified Azure Fundamentals)
- Experience working across multiple teams where some are entirely non-technical
- Managing and maintaining IT Infrastructure monitoring software
- Identifying and implementing business-wide automation
- Experience with self-led projects, in terms of implementation, documentation and post-completion support
- Experience working with RESTful APIs, ideally to integrate multiple systems.
