About the role

  • Prepare financial statements for IMEA entities and support month-end and year-end reporting in accordance with IFRS
  • Perform month-end account closings, reconciliations, and journal entries, including accruals, provisions, FX evaluations, inventories, and reserves
  • Maintain general ledger accounts and interface with sub-ledgers (AR, AP, payroll) to ensure accurate accounting
  • Manage fixed asset transactions and process intercompany recharges with timely reconciliations
  • Monitor, analyze, and investigate general ledger accounts to ensure day-to-day operations are correctly recorded
  • Coordinate with headquarters in Germany and support financial audits by preparing documentation and liaising with auditors
  • Assist business stakeholders in accounting and reporting issues to ensure transparency and compliance
  • Support tax-related matters and collaborate with tax consultants for required tax declarations
  • Participate in accounting and business-driven projects, identifying and implementing process improvements
  • Ensure adherence to accounting standards and internal policies while optimizing processes

Requirements

  • Completed university degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field, or a comparable professional qualification (e.g., certified accountant)
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles in accordance with IFRS
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Experience with SAP FI/CO is preferred
  • Good understanding of tax regulations and accounting practices
  • Strong analytical and structured working style with attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Action-oriented mindset with strong execution capabilities
  • Proficient English language skills (written and spoken)
  • Working knowledge of data analysis and performance metrics is an advantage
