• Own features end to end, from the data model through the API to the user interface
• Design and review the database side of features, including schema changes, migrations, queries, and access control
• Build backend services in TypeScript on Node.js and Express
• Build frontend features with React, Vite, MUI/Emotion, Redux, and React Query
• Set technical direction and document design reasoning
• Review other people's code
• Support mid-level engineers on the team
