About the role
- Work closely with the Director of Partnership Marketing to execute strategic marketing plans for each event, including email, advertising, partnership recruitment, and social media (paid and organic).
- Build creative assets such as HTML email invitations, banner ads, social media graphics and website graphics, ensuring that all content is accurate and up to date.
- Collaborate with the event content team on copy and messaging that highlights and connects relevant programming elements to desired targeted audiences.
- Create and manage event social media content calendars, working with internal and external partners on organic and paid social campaigns, providing direction on messaging, CTA, and branding.
- Test campaigns and analyze results and effectiveness to make informed recommendations.
- Attend in-person events to assist at registration, post and monitor social media accounts, and provide additional support as needed onsite.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related discipline.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a talent for crafting compelling. messaging and connecting with diverse audiences.
- Familiarity with the following tools and platforms, though not required: Graphic design software (e.g., Canva) Digital marketing platforms Email creation and design tools Salesforce (SFDC)
- Highly detail-oriented, with strong organizational and project management capabilities
- Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments.
- Genuine passion for event planning and a dedication to delivering outstanding attendee experiences.
- Willingness to travel for events, approximately 15–20%.
