About the role
- Own day-to-day accounting operations (AR/AP/close)
- Operate subscription accounting workflows in Maxio and QuickBooks Online
- Lead the implementation and ongoing operation of Ramp for expense management and AP
- Improve process discipline and system integrity while producing timely, decision-grade reporting
- Coordinate with external partners (e.g., bookkeeping/tax/audit providers) and maintain documentation for audits and filings
- Build scalable policies and workflows that enforce spend discipline, maintain audit trails, and improve operating efficiency
- Produce reliable monthly reporting packages and support leadership with clean reporting
Requirements
- 6–8+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Previous SaaS experience
- Hands on QuickBooks Online (QBO) experience
- Hands on Maxio experience (billing workflows, rev rec sub-ledger operation, integrations, and reporting)
- Strong operational accounting capability: AR, AP, close ownership, reconciliations, and process improvement
- Advanced Excel/Google Sheets proficiency for reconciliations, roll-forwards, and management reporting
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with deadlines; high attention to detail and follow-through.
