About the role
- Lead and continue building Cyara’s Global Innovation Center (GIC)
- Set a high technical bar across architecture, platform engineering, and delivery execution
- Engage directly in complex technical decisions, providing authoritative guidance and quick issue resolution
- Build and mature Cyara’s Global Innovation Center into a world-class engineering hub
- Recruit, develop, and retain top engineering talent, strengthening engineering discipline, ownership, and performance
- Establish and enforce high standards in design, coding, testing, automation, observability, and deployment
- Ensure engineering teams deliver high-quality products on time and aligned to customer and business needs
- Serve as the senior site leader for India, maintaining culture, communication, engagement, and site performance
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
- 20+ years of experience leading large scale engineering organizations with deep technical expertise in architecture, distributed systems, cloud platforms, and high availability SaaS environments
- Proven success building and elevating high performing global engineering teams and centers of excellence, including strengthening leadership capability, engineering rigor, and organizational maturity
- Demonstrated experience leading significant engineering transformation efforts such as improvements in velocity, quality, operating discipline, technical standards, and cross team alignment
- Ability to step into complex technical decisions and provide clear authoritative guidance that influences senior engineers and leaders
- Strong communication skills and leadership presence with an ability to provide clarity, alignment, and confidence across technical and non-technical audiences
- A track record of making fast high-quality decisions with imperfect information and driving disciplined measurable execution
- Experience partnering effectively with product, operations, AI, and global engineering teams within complex multi-region environments
- Strong capability in developing talent, coaching leaders, and building a culture of accountability, urgency, and continuous improvement
- Prior experience in a private equity-backed or high-growing technology company is preferred
