About the role

  • Handle inbound calls for specialty pharmacy patients regarding prescription refills, order status, benefits verification, and insurance coverage
  • Provide excellent customer service with empathy and resolve patients' questions on the first call
  • Complete 4 weeks onsite training and then potentially work remotely
  • Work assigned schedule based on business needs, including weekends
  • Support timely delivery of life sustaining medications
  • Use Windows-based applications and document interactions

Requirements

  • Bilingual in both Spanish and English
  • One year experience in a customer service role handling and resolving a high volume of complex customer needs over the phone
  • One year work experience with Windows-based applications like Windows, Microsoft Office, internet navigation, and email applications
  • One year computer keyboarding experience, skills and aptitude
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Willing to train onsite for 4 weeks (Monday through Friday 9am-5pm)
  • Willing to work a minimum of 40hrs a week after training and work Saturdays
  • Preferred: Certified Pharmacy Technician, CPhT or ExCPT
  • Preferred: healthcare work experience and familiarity with benefits, insurance, prescriptions, medical terminology
