About the role
- Handle inbound calls for specialty pharmacy patients regarding prescription refills, order status, benefits verification, and insurance coverage
- Provide excellent customer service with empathy and resolve patients' questions on the first call
- Complete 4 weeks onsite training and then potentially work remotely
- Work assigned schedule based on business needs, including weekends
- Support timely delivery of life sustaining medications
- Use Windows-based applications and document interactions
Requirements
- Bilingual in both Spanish and English
- One year experience in a customer service role handling and resolving a high volume of complex customer needs over the phone
- One year work experience with Windows-based applications like Windows, Microsoft Office, internet navigation, and email applications
- One year computer keyboarding experience, skills and aptitude
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Willing to train onsite for 4 weeks (Monday through Friday 9am-5pm)
- Willing to work a minimum of 40hrs a week after training and work Saturdays
- Preferred: Certified Pharmacy Technician, CPhT or ExCPT
- Preferred: healthcare work experience and familiarity with benefits, insurance, prescriptions, medical terminology
