Develops, configures, and manages application servers and the software that runs on those servers
Designs and optimizes monitoring system networks, both on-premise and cloud
Assists customers with InsightCM Server and Cutsforth Monitoring Application setup, configuration, and operator education
Coordinates customer-specific software version deployments and upgrades using project and task management tools
Responsible for the deployment and determination of customer network infrastructure
Analyzes and maintains system performance such as server stress and ensures efficient resource usage
Creates scripts in source control for provisioning and configuration of infrastructure and setup, using Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
Collaborates with R&D, software architects, developers, and QA testers to provide and support robust software solutions
Maintains and implements cybersecurity protocols, including code chain of custody and code security; participates in code reviews
Prepares user, technical, and quality documentation and reports
Develops and maintains relationships with vendors and clients; supports customer implementations and post-sales support
Supports infrastructure development and implementation of new algorithms and tools, including National Instruments InsightCM software utilizing LabVIEW real-time with Compact RIO hardware
Conducts routine and non-routine testing on existing algorithms to identify bugs and areas for optimization
Limited travel may be required for equipment tests, software installation, troubleshooting, and customer training
Requirements
Five or more years of education in computer science or related field
Project-based development experience
Experience integrating mechanical and electronic controls, understanding of instrumentation and P&ID diagrams, control logic, safety integrated systems, and controls; administrative and teamwork
Experience in Modbus
Experience with Web Development tools
Preferred: Bachelor of Science in Mechanical, Electrical, or Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related field
Preferred: Three or more years of experience with design, programming and implementation of LabVIEW projects, utilizing FPGA, hosted on cRIO’s
Preferred: Certified LabVIEW Developer or Certified LabVIEW Architect
Must be able to successfully pass background check for cybersecurity access requirements
Project management, communication, organization, and initiative
Support and customer service skills; functions as primary network support designate for Cutsforth monitoring systems
Experience supporting software, infrastructure and networking for monitoring systems
Experience with National Instruments InsightCM software and LabVIEW real-time with Compact RIO hardware
Ability to follow patterns, employ scientific method of problem-solving, implement complex system designs, and estimate task/project time
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
