About the role
- Provide a broad range of strategic, transactional, and litigation support
- Partner directly with business leadership to plan and execute initiatives
- Analyze and creatively mitigate complex contractual and operational risk
- Leverage software and Ai tools to draft, review and negotiate service agreements
- Provide business-minded counsel to internal business and promote legal policies
- Direct pre-litigation strategy and pursue early resolution of disputes
- Collaborate with legal, compliance and business colleagues to develop best practices
- Research, analyze and keep current on legal issues affecting the real estate industry
Requirements
- JD (Law Degree)
- Bachelor's Degree
- Licensed in good standing with at least one US state
- Relevant broad based commercial law experience across multiple business lines and jurisdictions which preferably should include at least 3 years representing U.S. companies
- Adaptability to thrive in a rapidly and constantly changing business
- Demonstrated business acumen
- Eagerness and ability to adopt and leverage software and Ai tools
- Creative, strategic problem solving, exhibiting strong analytical skills
- Ability to efficiently prioritize and achieve outstanding results in time-sensitive situations
