About the role

  • Collaborate with account teams to capture reporting requirements and translate them into clear technical specifications.
  • Provide data insights through trend analysis, KPI monitoring and interpretation of dashboard findings, clearly explaining performance drivers, risks and operational opportunities to business and client teams.
  • Partner with operations to understand reporting gaps and recommend appropriate tools or analytical solutions that enhance visibility, decision making and workflow efficiency.
  • Assist with client onboarding through data assessments, mapping exercises and validation of reporting needs.
  • Build and enhance Power BI dashboards, datasets and data models following established standards.
  • Write foundational T SQL queries to prepare data, validate logic and troubleshoot discrepancies.
  • Conduct User Acceptance Testing for new releases, dashboards and data improvements.
  • Document business rules, data definitions and reporting logic to support transparency and consistency.
  • Support business as usual activities including investigation of data issues, validation of source to target mappings and identification of root causes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data and Analytics, IT, Business, Engineering or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Two to three years of experience in data analysis, BI development or related analytics roles.
  • Hands on experience with Power BI including report development, data modeling, DAX and Power Query M.
  • Working knowledge of SQL for querying, validation and troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with dimensional modeling concepts such as star schema structures.
  • Experience in requirements gathering, business process documentation or creation of analytical deliverables.
  • Exposure to Agile or Scrum methodologies and platforms such as Azure DevOps or Jira.
  • Additional skills such as Python, Power Apps, Power Automate, Azure Data Factory, Databricks or Alteryx are a plus.
