💰 $114,750 - $135,000 per year
About the role
- Create, manage and lead the deployment of C&W’s EH&S programs across the US
- Assist in the identification of possible losses and evaluate the risk in such loss exposure
- Maintain and update SOP’s for all safe work practices and equipment
- Ensure inspections by regulatory agencies are coordinated and deficiencies corrected
- Maintain all logs and documentation associated with permits and regulatory requirements
- Review accidents and incidents to manage corrective actions
- Support Workers Compensation (WC) claims tracking and management process
- Liaise with WC Program Manager and benefits group on injury management
- Participate in site inspections and third-party audits
- Develop, maintain, and ensure the online safety training platform meets industry standards
- Collaborate with other service lines and global EH&S to implement programs
- Review Policies & Procedures specific to EH&S
- Develop standards and processes related to common environmental issues
Requirements
- BA/BS in Safety, Engineering or related sciences preferred
- 5+ years’ experience in Environmental Health and Safety
- Safety Certification (CSP or CIH) preferred
- Subject Matter Expertise in EHS and relevant US Standards
- Well versed in OH&S legislation and regulation
- Well-developed research and report writing skills
- Sound Investigative and Auditing skills supported by formal training
