About the role
- Ensure the efficient operation and maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing equipment and systems for the assigned properties
- Perform plumbing, electrical, or HVAC requirements of the buildings
- Monitor and adjust all mechanical/pneumatic equipment and ensure a comfortable environment
- Conduct routine assessments and perform day-to-day preventive and corrective maintenance
- Respond immediately to emergency situations and customer concerns
- Document and report activities to supervisor
- Comply with all applicable codes and safe work habits.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
- 5+ years of related work experience in operating mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems in a commercial property setting
- Appropriate license/permit for trade as required (e.g., Journeyman or Master Electrician License)
- Certification as a Universal Technician for CFCs may be required depending on market licensure requirements
- Basic computing skills in Outlook, Excel & Word
- Experience in operation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC, boilers, heaters, pumps, refrigerant systems, compressors, water systems, etc.
- Knowledgeable in energy management systems, techniques, and operations.
