Accountant

• Maintain accurate accounts payable records, review and process invoices, payments, vendor records, and documentation
• Create and distribute invoices, reconcile customer payments, monitor receivables, support collections, and investigate billing discrepancies
• Reconcile billed and collected amounts against contracts, SOWs, agreements, and supporting documentation
• Prepare and maintain sales commission schedules and calculate, reconcile, document, and investigate commissions across multiple companies, brands, offers, and compensation structures
• Prepare payroll and commission schedules, process approved payroll, reconcile payroll activity, and review variable compensation
• Enter and categorize credit card transactions, maintain receipts, reconcile statements, and process payments
• Reconcile bank transactions, monitor cash activity, maintain cash flow reporting and forecasts, and reconcile intercompany activity
• Own assigned month-end close components, prepare journal entries, review P&L fluctuations, reconcile balance sheet accounts, and prepare draft financial reporting packages
• Review transactional data for irregularities, investigate discrepancies, maintain audit trails, safeguard confidential information, and improve financial controls
• Communicate issues promptly, manage deadlines independently, and keep the Accounting Manager and Controller informed

Staff Accountant

Accounting Manager

• Own the accounting function for assigned client accounts
• Maintain accurate, complete, and timely financial records
• Perform and oversee full-cycle accounting processes
• Review financial statements, supporting schedules, journal entries, financial notes, and financial packages
• Perform P&L scrubs and balance sheet reviews
• Own month-end close timelines and checklists
• Complete technical QA and ensure accuracy of balance sheet workbooks
• Lead, mentor, coach, and develop Staff Accountants
• Manage performance for direct reports, including corrective action and escalation
• Review customer invoicing, vendor bills, payroll, cash flow forecasts, and collections issues
• Complete quarterly 941 reconciliations and sales tax returns
• Coordinate, review, and submit annual 1099s and client personal property tax filings
• Develop, improve, maintain, and document accounting processes and controls
• Set up and sync accounting programs and tools and review third-party application mappings
• Monitor for fraud and escalate concerns
• Improve efficiency, scalability, cost savings, and profitability
• Communicate proactively with Controllers, client stakeholders, and accounting team members
• Provide updates on accounting activity, priorities, risks, delays, and outstanding items
