• Executing integrated marketing campaigns from strategy to execution and measurement. Partner closely with Sales & Carbon Finance teams to engage target accounts and grow qualified pipeline.

Full-Stack Engineer, Climate Tech – B2B SaaS

General Counsel

• Own the Contract Lifecycle: You will take over contract negotiations for high-value client offtakes (e.g., British Airways, Standard Chartered) and supplier procurement.
• Standardisation: Stop the "bespoke" madness. Work with Sales and Product to build standard Terms of Business, Master Services Agreements (MSAs), and Playbooks that allow the Sales team to close 80% of deals without your direct intervention.
• Risk vs. Speed: You will be the commercial referee. You must distinguish between "existential risk" (which we block) and "commercial friction" (which we manage), helping the team close deals faster.
• Financial Engineering: Partner with our Carbon Finance Director to structure complex financial products (e.g., prepayments, debt facilities, SPVs, and insurance wrappers). You need to be comfortable with the mechanics of structured finance.
• Regulatory Watch: Monitor the evolving landscape of Carbon/Financial regulation (FCA, VCM, Article 6) to ensure our business model remains compliant yet aggressive.
• Series A Readiness: Ensure our data room (IP assignments, cap table, employment contracts, compliance) is "due diligence ready" 24/7/365.
• Board & Fundraising: Manage corporate governance and support the CEO during fundraising rounds.
• Outside Counsel: Manage our external law firms. You are the gatekeeper—your job is to reduce our external legal spend by doing the heavy lifting in-house.

Financial Planning and Analysis

• What you will do
• - Own CUR8’s finance operations: P&L, month‑end close, cash reporting, management accounts, and statutory reporting, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.​
• - Build and maintain a scalable finance “engine”: controls, approvals, spend policies, chart of accounts, and clear financial processes.
• - Manage cash, treasury, payroll, vendor management and financial risk, including counterparty, credit/portfolio, FX, and basic regulatory/tax considerations across jurisdictions.​
• - Design and implement scalable finance processes, controls, and systems (including the finance tech stack).
• - Lead financial planning and analysis: budgeting, forecasting, scenario modelling, runway management and portfolio/transaction analytics for CUR8’s products and structures.​
• - Own board‑level financial reporting and KPIs; provide clear, decision‑ready insights to support product, commercial, and strategy decisions.​
• - Partner with founders on fundraising including modelling, materials, investor conversations, and data‑room readiness.
• - Work with legal and external advisors to design and maintain optimal entity structures for CUR8’s carbon finance products.​
• - Build and maintain financing models that reflect contract structures (e.g., offtake-backed revenue, repayment waterfalls, covenants, reserves).
