About the role
- Support data, compliance, and environmental governance processes within the assigned domain.
- Facilitate and manage analytics intake processes to reduce rework and promote reuse of solutions.
- Collaborate with peers to integrate data from data warehouses, data lakes, and other source systems to build relevant business models.
- Cleanse and validate data to ensure report accuracy, reduce duplication, and maintain documentation of cleansing processes.
- Develop reports, dashboards, and analytical solutions using business intelligence tools and other appropriate technologies.
- Support analytics projects to generate insights that improve business decision-making.
- Assist in establishing and enforcing data collection, integration, and governance standards.
- Support ingestion of key domain data into the data lake, ensuring creation and maintenance of metadata and data profiles.
- Perform data profiling to identify data quality issues and implement corrective measures.
- Assist stakeholders in identifying and accessing relevant and reliable data.
- Participate in communities of practice to promote responsible analytics usage.
- Coach and train business users in navigating and utilizing the analytics ecosystem.
- Prepare analytical summaries and communications for leaders and stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Equivalent relevant experience may be considered.
- This role may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
- Minimal to 3+ years of relevant experience in analytics, business intelligence, or data engineering roles.
- 3–5 years of hands-on experience with Python, SQL, Power BI, ETL processes, and cloud platforms.
- Demonstrated experience supporting analytics governance, data lake ingestion, and business stakeholder engagement.
- Experience documenting data models, report structures, and supporting end-user training.
