About the role

  • Implement and maintain contract tracking processes and policies
  • Develop external relationships with client contract management counterparts
  • Negotiate directly with client attorneys or purchasing staff until consensus is reached
  • Maintain contractual records and documentation
  • Monitor transaction compliance (milestones, deliverables, invoicing etc.)
  • Oversee Service Level Agreement Compliance
  • Ensure contract close-out, extension, or renewal
  • Plan, manage, and coordinate all aspects of the project schedule, scope, and cost
  • Value engineer the project by identifying opportunities for savings
  • Prepare project management plan and fee budget/proposal

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of contracting process and contract issues
  • Ability to analyze and negotiate contract requirements and terms
  • Utilize effective written and oral communication skills
  • Consistently communicates and collaborates with team members and clients
  • Build relationships with peers, leaders, and clients
  • Minimum of five years of experience in contract administration role in a corporate environment; Design/Construction experience preferred
  • Preferred Education: Certified Federal Contracts Manager (CFCM), Certified Commercial Contracts Manager (CCCM) and/or Certified Contracts Professional Manager (CCPM)
