About the role
- Implement and maintain contract tracking processes and policies
- Develop external relationships with client contract management counterparts
- Negotiate directly with client attorneys or purchasing staff until consensus is reached
- Maintain contractual records and documentation
- Monitor transaction compliance (milestones, deliverables, invoicing etc.)
- Oversee Service Level Agreement Compliance
- Ensure contract close-out, extension, or renewal
- Plan, manage, and coordinate all aspects of the project schedule, scope, and cost
- Value engineer the project by identifying opportunities for savings
- Prepare project management plan and fee budget/proposal
Requirements
- Strong understanding of contracting process and contract issues
- Ability to analyze and negotiate contract requirements and terms
- Utilize effective written and oral communication skills
- Consistently communicates and collaborates with team members and clients
- Build relationships with peers, leaders, and clients
- Minimum of five years of experience in contract administration role in a corporate environment; Design/Construction experience preferred
- Preferred Education: Certified Federal Contracts Manager (CFCM), Certified Commercial Contracts Manager (CCCM) and/or Certified Contracts Professional Manager (CCPM)
