About the role
- Establishing, developing, and maintaining positive business and customer relationships while meeting monthly sales goals.
- Train to understand the full use and benefits of Culligan products and services.
- Promote a long-term relationship-building approach to Sales to improve customer satisfaction and retention with residential customers.
- Develop and improve standard/best practices in the sales toolbox: presentation formatting, financial documentation, lead generation methods, cost modelling.
- Correspond with all leads and appointments as scheduled.
- Attend scheduled appointments assigned with professionalism and integrity.
- Maintain accurate records of all sales activities in relevant database.
- Learn, maintain and apply overall knowledge and technical information as it relates to the sales of all residential Culligan products.
- Understand customers’ needs and present viable solutions.
- Accurately represent capabilities, terms procedures without distorting dealership policy.
- Make an effective sales presentation so that the customer is adequately educated about the products and services available.
- Clearly and completely document installation arrangements, pumps and other related equipment, check electrical/drain.
- Take ownership of a new customer’s account, and follow up with every new customer to ensure complete satisfaction and secure referrals.
- Maintain security of all customer information.
- Participate in all promotional activities (trade shows, exhibits, etc.) as required.
- Obtain minimum sales standards (see attached breakdown).
Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or one to three months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Computer skills required: Contract Management Systems (EX: DocuSign, etc.); Human Resource Systems; Microsoft Office Suite; Project Management Software (EX: Monday.com)
- Certificates, licenses and registrations required: Valid driver’s license, Sales license, State licenses as required
- Highly motivated and target driven with a proven record of accomplishment in sales.
