About the role
- Provides complex financial and schedule control services for assigned projects
- Supports Program Managers and program functional participants in financial/schedule management of large and/or complex projects
- Works fairly independently to perform project planning, monitoring, and reporting activities for programs/projects as assigned
- Analyzes and interprets data from SAP
- Utilizes discretion and analysis in developing, maintaining, and facilitating project plans
- Effectively interfaces and builds strong relationships with internal and external customers
- Coordinates projects in accordance with Cubic policies and procedures
- Establishes the cost accounting structure of projects
- Assists in budgeting and scheduling process
- Participates with scheduling professionals in the creation of project schedules and reviews
- Provides earned value management
- Monitors costs to ensure accurate accounting
- Facilitates cost corrections and/or prepares account correction documents
- Provides analyses and compiles expected cost data to form Estimate-At-Complete (EAC) forecasts
- Inputs budget and EAC data into SAP
- Forecasts expenditures, sales, earnings, and cash flow
- Monitors and analyzes Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable
- Prepares various internal and external financial analyses and reports
- Supports internal and external audits
- Supports proposal development activities
- Distributes various cost and schedule reports to assigned project participants
- Creates annual budget for product line
- Maintains and updates financial forecast for product line weekly and monthly
Requirements
- Four year college degree, or equivalent, in business administration or accounting plus a minimum of four years related experience
- Four years of related experience will be considered in lieu of a business degree
- Must be eligible for a DOD Security Clearance
- Must communicate effectively, both verbally and in written form, with all levels of employees including upper management
- Must be competent with personal computer and be familiar with spreadsheet software (e.g., Lotus 1-2-3, EXCEL) and other Microsoft Office software
- Ability to follow written and verbal directions
- Ability to prioritize work, complete multiple tasks, and work under deadlines
- Able to perform analysis
- Adept analytical and numerical skills required
- SAP experience is preferred.
