Oversee a team of 4 communicators across 3 shifts, ensuring persistent 24/7 technical assistance to ICE's TAK infrastructure
Design, deploy, and maintain the Immigration and Customs Enforcement Agency’s cloud TAK Server environments
Assist with planning and execution of network and server environment upgrades and expansions
Provide SME support for managing the Agency’s TAK Servers remotely and federating TAK networks with other federal agencies
Collaborate with the Agency’s engineering and technical staff to ensure seamless integration of hardware, software, and firmware
Install, configure, operate and maintain cloud infrastructure, software, and related capabilities
Configure and manage operating systems (Windows and Linux), applications, networks, and network hardware
Configure and manage distributed authentication services
Ensure systems, operating systems, software and procedures adhere to government policies and security standards
Assist in creating and maintaining network security policies, standards, and monitoring capabilities
Implement and maintain backup operations, disaster recovery and business continuity plans
Manage cloud-based services such as DNS, digital certificates, SAN/NAS storage, IP video, phone and camera services, and networked workstations
Perform performance tuning, hardware upgrades and resource optimization
Support and manage other TAK related services as needed
Requirements
Minimum 7 years of experience managing Tactical Assault Kit (TAK) Server capabilities within enterprise network environments
Proven track record of 7 years leading and managing communications teams, with emphasis on operational coordination and technical oversight
At least 5 years of experience administering Linux servers in hybrid cloud/on-premises environments, including performance tuning and security hardening
Possession of relevant certifications, including: CompTIA Security+ (Sec+), Microsoft Windows or Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) Administrator, AWS Cloud Administrator or equivalent cloud platform certification
Extensive hands-on experience in hardware administration, including installation, implementation, configuration, and troubleshooting
Must have an active U.S. government Secret security clearance
U.S. Citizenship is required
Ability to support MANET, Tactical Data Link (TDL), Tactical Radio, Tactical Assault Kit (TAK) and federating TAK networks
Willingness to travel occasionally to support business needs, client engagements, training, or field operations
