About the role
- Lead and support the rollout of Meds to Beds programs in rural hospitals across Indiana
- Build strong partnerships with hospital leaders and stakeholders to drive adoption and solve implementation challenges
- Monitor hospital work plans, grant deliverables, and contract requirements
- Develop relationships with vendors and external partners, including pharmacies, PBMs, PSAOs, couriers, and medical records providers
- Provide on-site technical assistance and serve as a liaison between hospitals, support partners, and IDOH leadership
- Work directly with hospital CEOs, pharmacy leaders, and organizations such as the Indiana Pharmacy Association
- Share best practices and successful program models across hospitals and health systems
- Develop reporting processes and help hospital staff track program outcomes
- Measure and report progress on key performance objectives and provide updates to IDOH leadership
Requirements
- Degree in a medical, pharmacy, public health, health science, health policy, health administration, social science, or related field
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively
- Strong analytical thinking and ability to turn insights into practical recommendations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong relationship-building skills with agencies, hospitals, and other stakeholders
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Publisher
- Detail-oriented, organized, and self-motivated
- Bonus Experience: 2+ years of experience in rural health initiatives, clinical background or experience in pharmacy, hospital, primary care, ambulatory, or community healthcare settings, knowledge of federal and state pharmacy-related policies and procedures, experience in leadership, facilitation, adult education, or project management, familiarity with PBMs, PSAOs, and point-of-sale pharmacy systems.
