About the role
- Identify, target, and secure new client partnerships for staffing and consulting services
- Develop and execute strategic business development plans to drive revenue growth and market expansion
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline through proactive outreach (cold calling, email, networking, referrals, and digital channels)
- Establish and nurture relationships with hiring managers, HR leaders, and key decision-makers
- Present and position contract staffing, managed services, and direct hire solutions tailored to client needs
- Own the full sales cycle- from initial outreach through deal close and client handoff
- Maintain accurate pipeline and activity tracking in ATS/CRM
- Support account managers in expanding existing client relationships by identifying growth opportunities and contributing to upsell and cross-sell efforts when requested
- Represent the company at industry events, networking engagements, and client meetings as needed
Requirements
- 2-4 years of business development experience within the staffing industry
- Proven track record of generating new business and driving revenue growth (this is not an account management role)
- Experience selling contract staffing, consulting services, and/or direct hire solutions
- Strong prospecting and client acquisition skills across multiple channels (phone, email, LinkedIn, etc.)
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Consistent history of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Background in recruiting or talent acquisition (preferred)
