About the role
- Coordinate the localization of UI, Marketing, and Help Center content across 30+ languages.
- Manage timelines and hand-offs in our TMS, ensuring files are delivered to linguists or AI workflows correctly.
- **Prompting & Context:** Apply best practices in prompting to ensure AI-generated content receives the correct context.
- **AI Quality Spot-Checks:** Act as the first line of defense by spot-checking LLM outputs for obvious hallucinations or tone inconsistencies before passing them to human editors.
- **Feedback Loop:** Provide structured feedback to the Localization Manager on how our AI tools are performing.
- Maintain our central glossaries to ensure both human linguists and AI models have up-to-date terminology.
- Manage the LQA (Linguistic Quality Assurance) process, ensuring that any bugs found in the app are traced back to the source and fixed.
- Support the onboarding of vendors to new workflows, including Post-Editing (MTPE) processes.
- Work with Product Managers to clarify ambiguous English strings so that translations (human or machine) are accurate from the start.
Requirements

- **Tech-Forward Mindset:** You are familiar with the concepts of **Generative AI and LLMs** in localization. You understand how tools like ChatGPT or automated TMS workflows can aid efficiency.

- **TMS Proficiency:** deeply experienced with tools like Crowdin, Lokalise, or Smartling.
- **Operational Excellence:** You are highly organized and can manage file versions, Jira tickets, and invoices without losing track of details.
