About the role
- Lead the development of core systems for Cryptio's SaaS accounting platform, ensuring robust and scalable customer workflows
- Architect, optimise, and maintain data-heavy solutions for financial reporting, reconciliation, and ledger automation
- Collaborate with staff engineers, product, and other teams to deliver features aligned with customer and business needs
- Identify, troubleshoot, and proactively resolve performance issues at scale
- Mentor and support the growth of engineers across the squad
- Contribute to codebase reliability by documenting best practices and enabling knowledge sharing across the company
Requirements
- Experience building and shipping production software, ideally with team or technical leadership
- Comfortable working with Rust and eager to deepen expertise
- Hands-on experience or strong interest in TypeScript and frameworks like Nest.js, Zod, or Slonik
- Curious about crypto and accounting, or relevant domain experience
- Experience or interest in high-performance systems and working with large datasets
- Experience with OLAP databases such as ClickHouse, and with PostgreSQL (Cassandra experience is a plus)
- Familiarity with Kubernetes on AWS, Docker, GitLab, and Pulumi
- Communicates clearly in English and values collaborative work
- Interest in mentoring and knowledge sharing
