About the role
- The Director of Innovation is a key leadership role responsible for driving the development and implementation of new platforms and innovations that elevate and enhance the overall member, team member and franchise owner experience.
- Own and drive execution of strategic portfolio initiatives from concept through full-scale rollout, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery and measurable impact.
- Lead the end-to-end development, launch, and scaling of new platforms and programs that enhance the member experience and advance strategic priorities.
- Define Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Return on Investment (ROI) Calculation Targets.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify, define, and establish KPIs that align with the company's strategic objectives.
- Develop deep understanding of our members’ needs and know what members want before they do, in order to stay ahead of trends.
- Scour marketplace to identify, evaluate, and establish strategic partnerships with vendor partners, industry leaders, and technology providers to leverage synergies and drive innovation into the Crunch experience.
- Drive the development and execution of holistic strategies aimed at elevating the Physical, Digital, and Foundational experiences for both members and employees.
- Build meaningful relationships with Franchise Owners and Franchise Executives and involve them from the outset of projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field; Engineering degree and/ or MBA preferred
- 5+ years of relevant experience.
- Proven track record of driving innovation and successful implementation of platforms and programs in a consumer-facing industry, preferably in the fitness, wellness, or digital space.
- Demonstrated experience launching or implementing a new system, product, or process at scale.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights and strategies.
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to inspire and influence cross-functional teams.
- Strategic thinker with a deep understanding of customer experience and trends in the fitness industry.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Must be willing to travel up to 25%.
