About the role
- Promote and advocate the value of ITAM to organizational leaders
- Gather data on and provide analysis of all activities that have an impact on the value, cost, and risk of IT assets
- Provide oversight and guidance for software asset management
- Work with Procurement and internal departments to structure and negotiate terms and licensing agreements
- Provide input to IT for budgeting with regards to assets annual costs
- Work within the IT asset management system to monitor asset lifecycle and inventory
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business or Computer Science
- Five or more years of experience
- Deep understanding of the IT asset life cycle, best practice governance, tools, and services
- Experience developing and implementing policy, process, and procedures
- Demonstrated understanding of licensing, subscription, and consumption models
- Proven skills in data processing, analysis and quality management.
