Drive technical excellence by mentoring your team, conducting code and process reviews, and fostering an environment of continuous learning while managing on-call rotations to ensure 24/7 reliability
Drive cross-functional collaboration with product, customer support, and engineering teams to deliver high-impact features for Falcon Cloud Security
Take end-to-end ownership for the delivery of projects of increasing complexity
Relentlessly pursue quality by following engineering best practices including: appropriate testing paradigms, effective peer code reviews, logging, monitoring, and resilient architecture patterns
Reflect thoughtfully to improve architecture, customer experience, user experience, performance, and stability leading the team to follow rapid prototyping and fast-paced decision making
Must be able to work 3+ days per week on site from our New York office

Requirements

U.S. citizen or Permanent Resident and work solely from U.S. soil
7+ years of experience in Software Engineering roles with at least 3+ years in management positions
Experience working in one or more public clouds (AWS, Azure, GCP and OCI), Kubernetes
Experience leading and developing high-performing engineering teams with a hands-on management approach
Programming skills in Golang, Python, or similar languages
Experience with Postgres, Kafka, Cassandra, ElasticSearch technologies
Broad grounding in all aspects of distributed systems development
Excellent written and verbal communication: clear framing of decisions, trade‑offs, and status to varied audiences
Experience working across multiple geographies and time zones; flexibility to accommodate meetings with partners across the globe
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; Master's degree preferred
