About the role

  • As a global leader in cybersecurity, CrowdStrike protects the people, processes and technologies that drive modern organizations. Our Falcon Fusion (SOAR) product is as highly extensible No-Code/Low-Code means of automating all sorts of complex workflow creation and execution. Seeking an E7 (Staff-level) frontend engineer to join an established high-performing team expanding dynamic feature areas spanning complex triggers, views, large scale data visualizations, and more. Collaborate with UX designers and QA to maintain consistent user experience across products and with product management and backend engineers to establish product specifications and features. Responsible for taking full ownership of delivery of products, driving technical aspects, defining architecture and coordinating with stakeholders for scope and priorities. Build and maintain single page web applications written in JavaScript using Ember.js. Participate in code review, build developer tools, write automated tests, and collaborate cross-functionally. Provide a high quality user experience used 24/7 to protect customers' systems from sophisticated adversaries.

Requirements

  • 7+ Years of experience building complex user interfaces for software products used at high scale, with the majority or most recent portion devoted toward a SaaS product A deep understanding of Javascript and considerable experience building thick-client applications with modern frameworks such as Ember, AngularJS, Backbone or React/Flux. Strong HTML & CSS skills, with bonus points for experience with animation, knowledge of approaches to scalable/modular CSS, & preprocessors such as SCSS & LESS. Experience with testing frameworks, tools and methodologies such as QUnit, Mocha & Selenium. Functional knowledge & interest in developing genuinely accessible interfaces. A desire to collaborate closely with users, designers, & testers to deliver quality software that solves problems. Familiarity with client-side build processes & tools - git, yarn, npm, Ember CLI etc Comfortable with Git/version control workflows.
