About the role
- Support a wide range of Data & Analytics Transformation projects, spanning data strategy, analytics enablement, and technology integration.
- Contribute knowledge and best practices related to critical business processes such as data governance and analytics modernization.
- Provide insights into clients, sharing industry-leading practices and guiding them to optimal solutions.
- Oversee project administration activities, encompassing project setup, planning, budgeting, account management, and billing, ensuring smooth project completion.
- Proactively monitor industry trends and articulate their potential impact on clients.
- Contribute to developing and implementing firm-approved, AI-enabled solutions for clients, in accordance with company policies on data protection, intellectual property, and professional standards.
- Stay informed about emerging AI tools and techniques and collaborating with firm leadership to identify compliant opportunities to enhance client solutions and internal processes.
- Mentor team members through coaching, regular ongoing feedback, annual performance reviews, and actively supporting project teams in resolving complex issues.
- Build and nurture strong client relationships, serving as a trusted advisor who understands their business needs, identifies opportunities for new business, and delivers high-quality service.
- Play an active role in attracting, interviewing, hiring, and retaining top talent.
- Design and implement system-to-system integrations using APIs, webhooks, batch interfaces, and event-driven patterns.
- Build and support automations across enterprise SaaS platforms (e.g., Coupa, ERP, finance, HR, CRM systems).
- Develop reliable integration workflows with error handling, retries, idempotency, and partial failure management.
- Perform data mapping and transformation between systems with differing schemas and data models.
- Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues across authentication, data, and platform configuration layers.
- Collaborate with business, security, and platform teams to understand requirements and constraints.
- Produce clear integration documentation and operational runbooks.
- Support integrations in production, including monitoring and incident response.
Requirements
- 5–7 years prior experience in professional services (public accounting, advisory firm, or management consulting firm)
- In-depth knowledge of integration engineering, API development, and automation
- Demonstrated experience working with clients to design and implement enterprise integrations
- Prior experience using one or more of the following tools: REST APIs, OAuth 2.0, iPaaS platforms (MuleSoft, Boomi, Workato, Tray, Celigo)
- Experience mentoring and developing junior team members
- Consistent success in building and developing strong client relationships
- Comfort with AI: Demonstrated ability to responsibly explore and adopt firm-approved AI tools to enhance productivity and innovation
- Continuous Learning Mindset: Openness to learning and applying emerging technologies including AI and automation in alignment with firm policies and client standards
