About the role
- Understand the daily business operations and basic exposures of our customers
- Prepare, monitor and process renewals in accordance with agency procedures
- Follow-up with underwriters for the timely receipt of quotes and respond to underwriter requests
- Prepare renewal summaries and proposals as needed
- Produce binders for clients when policies not received and deliver to insured by effective date
- Facilitate audit disputes
- Pursue prompt payment of agency bill invoices and request cancellation of policy when payments are not received per Cross guidelines
- Daily account servicing: assist clients, request and process policy changes, verify accuracy of policy documents
- Complete CL Checklist and create new policy issuance/quote/renewal instructions (Bind Order)
- Facilitate and monitor invoicing, monthly statements, payments and premium finance agreements
- Maintain monthly reports including suspense, unbilled premiums, expiration lists
Requirements
- 1 or more years' Experience
- Property & Casualty Insurance License
- Can provide an Analysis of Coverage
- Knowledge of industry information, carrier products and property/casualty insurance coverages
- Ability to set priorities and manage workflow to ensure efficient, timely and accurate processing of transactions
- Ability to maintain a cordial and professional relationship with clients, co-workers, companies, vendors and other business contacts
- Attain CE credits as necessary for licensing
