About the role
- Act as the Country Captain to define the long-term product vision.
- Own the wholesale assortment strategy, including range architecture, pricing, and margin targets.
- Lead the comprehensive pre-season planning process.
- Drive in-season performance by identifying risks and opportunities.
- Provide clear strategic direction to downstream teams.
- Partner cross-functionally with Planning, Marketing, and Commercial teams.
Requirements
- BS or BA in business, marketing, or a related field—or equivalent years of relevant and related experience.
- Minimum 10+ years of merchandising experience, with a significant track record of wholesale leadership in fashion, footwear, or lifestyle brands.
- Proven expertise in leading country-level assortment strategy and managing complex product lifecycles.
- Strong Understanding of pre-season and in-season merchandising levers, price architecture, and margin management.
- Highly decisive and commercially minded, with the ability to balance competing brand, consumer, and commercial priorities.
- Demonstrated ability to navigate and lead within fast-paced, matrixed global organizations while maintaining local market accountability.
- Ability to influence senior stakeholders and lead cross-functional partners toward a unified commercial goal.
