Attorney

• Working with the Senior Counsel, provide cross-program support and legal guidance for innovative programmatic priorities involving campaign finance, lobbying, and election activity.
• Under the supervision of the Senior Counsel, review, draft, and provide guidance on contracts, leases, grant agreements, and other legal documentation.
• Help develop and update effective compliance education and program-specific training tools for Indivisible employees relating to election and tax law compliance and internal policies and procedures.
• Support the Senior Compliance Manager in developing and managing data systems, compliance procedures, and internal processes/practices relating to campaign finance reporting and entity time tracking.
• Conduct independent and complex legal research and write memoranda. Issue spot, investigate, and evaluate legal implications of compliance issues.
• Help monitor changing areas of tax and election law as they relate to Indivisible entities and legal compliance.
